Trouble completing a purchase

Checkout is handled by Stripe. If a payment fails, or you're not sure whether it went through, here's what to do.

  1. If your card was declined

    Try another card or payment method. Declines almost always come from the card issuer, not from us. Your bank can tell you the exact reason.

  2. If you're not sure the payment went through

    Don't keep retrying. Contact us first and we'll check on our side; you won't be left paying for a game you didn't get.

  3. Find your receipt

    Receipts come from Stripe, so search your email for "Stripe" as well as "ClueHall".

Anything else odd at checkout? Email us what happened and we'll straighten it out.
